Got the Summit Backpack for my Lab. She is of the large English show variety with well developed shoulders and a deep chest. The straps around her throat were too short at maximum extention. The rest of the backpack fitted well.
My daughters American Sporting style Lab managed a perfect fit even though she had a deeper chest.
A few more centimetres around the neck would have been necessary for a good fit.

My dog wore this on a 3 day hike . It looked very comfortable on him. It didn't bounce around. However I did make sure each side carried equal weight. He wore through the bush, climbing waterfalls, brambles, ridges and creek crossings. I did put the contents in waterproof packs inside and these remained dry. The pack still looks in new condition despite really putting it to the test. It's easy clean,.wipe down which is great because my dogs love to roll in poo. I'm really impressed with this pack. Much improved from the older design my other dog wore.

Great product. But make sure you order up rather than down in sizing. If the straps aren't in the right place they chafe and can cause sorers. My walks with my GSP are much more enjoyable when all I have to hold is the lead!
